JORDYN OWENS
(she, her)
Jordyn Owens is an artist born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Similar to her daily meditations, her art practice is a contemplative process, one that brings awareness to her thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. Jordyn utilizes photographic mediums to explore the past, present, and future self, often incorporating materials found in the archive of her life.
By exploring her inner world, Jordyn’s creations reveal the evolution of identity and the powerful effects of introspection.

Ricardo Rubalcaba Paredes
(elle, they, them)
Ricardo Rubalcaba Paredes is an artivist (artist and activist) from Reno, NV. Since 2018, I’ve been organizing in the community and collaborating with mutual aid groups and organizations like the Holland Project. As a painter, my work focuses on Joteria, exploring the intersection of Queer/Trans and Mexican/Chicanx identities. My art aims to be culturally responsive to Black and Brown experiences, building solidarity against white heteropatriarchy. Additionally, I co-run the Reno Community Art Closet (RCAC), a mutual aid initiative providing free workshops and art supplies to historically marginalized communities.
