We are a collective of Black and Brown artists based in Reno, NV, mobilizing to cultivate an
intersectional safe space for Black, Indigenous, and Artists of Color. As Black and Brown artists,
we are committed to nurturing our autonomy outside the framework of traditional, predominately
white-serving institutions. We utilize art as a medium for social justice, fostering representation and belonging as we demand accessibility, equity, and inclusivity.
As a collective of Black and Brown, queer artists and activists, we support the various liberation movements seeking to dismantle the institution of colonialism and imperialism. Including efforts from Indigenous communities to end the Missing and Murdered Relatives epidemic here on Turtle Island and the various communities and movements organizing against occupations and genocide in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Tigray, Xijang, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, and look to movements locally and in places like South Africa, Kenya, and Bangladesh as examples for change.
